Multinationals and the Lake Geneva region: stronger together

The aim of the Groupement des Entreprises Multinationales (GEM) is to develop, promote, represent and protect the common interests of its members in their relations with authorities and the public
in general. It has more than 80 members, consisting of Swiss and foreign multinationals based in the cantons of Geneva, Vaud and Fribourg. For more than 50 years, multinationals established in the region have been contributing directly towards prosperity for everyone.

Geneva’s Multinational companies have opened their doors from 6th to 13th June 2016

Several multinational companies have been involved in an open house operation with a focus on education and innovation.

  • The public was able to discover from the inside companies such as SITA, Givaudan, Richemont and Hirslanden Clinique La Colline. Campus Biotech also hosted an event in partnership with the University of Geneva to highlight the links between research, start-ups and multinational companies. Over 650 visitors attended the workshops, presentations and debates, getting to know more about the daily activities of these international companies.
