John Ruggie is Professor in Human Rights and International Affairs. He also is the former UN Secretary-General's Special Representative for Business and Human Rights and has developed the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
On 11 April 2018 he publishes an article in Le Temps under the title Entreprise et droits de l'homme: la nouvelle "norme" in which he mentions the GEM and its "constructive position" towards the Swiss Responsible Business Initiative.
